| 10.06.06 4545 Lindell Conrad Properties invited new and prospective residents of 4545 Lindell Condominiums to meet the design team for the project, which broke ground in the CWE last fall. The 10 story building, designed by architect Lou Saur, AIA, will be home to 32 luxury condominiums, with floor plans by Robert Lococo. The condominiums are listed by Edward L. Bakewell Realty through the smartly-appointed sales office located at #5 Maryland Plaza, also in the CWE. Catering provided by Zoe. | ||

 | 06.15.06 Venini Glass Exhibit Centro will exhibit more than 50 glass objects and lighting designs from the Murano, Italy based manufacturer Venini from June 15 through July 3. A special eveninig viewing takes place on Friday, June 16 from 6:00 - 10:00pm in conjunction with the Glass Art Society's Annual Conference, being held in St. Louis June 15 - 17.  | 05.04.06 LucePlan 2006 Collection Debut Liz Panos, LucePlan's VP of Sales and Marketing, will join Centro for the St. Louis debut of the LucePlan 2006 Lighting Collection. The invitation-only event will allow the city's top designers and architects to enjoy good conversation, amazing lighting, and culinary delights catered by Chef Ben Poremba of Maryland House. LucePlan has donated BIRZI Table Lamps for six lucky ticket holders. The LucePlan exhibit will be on display to the public through June 11, 2006. | |
 | 02.24.06 Pre-Dada Ball and Fritz Hansen Debut Centro debuts the Fritz Hansen Furniture Collection by hosting a fundraiser for the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis. The Pre-Dada Ball was the place to be seen as art lovers and design addicts sipped Prosecco and viewed Dada-esque artwork created by students of CAMSTL's New Art In The Neighborhood program. The artwork was displayed amongst Fritz Hansen's classic furniture designs by Poul Kjaerholm, Piet Hein, and Arne Jacobsen. The suggested $10.00 door donation and silent auction of the student's artwork raised $1275.00 for CAMSTL's exhibitions and education programs. | |
 | 02.23.06 AIA St. Louis Movie Night @ Centro For the second year in a row, Centro played host to the St. Louis Chapter of the American Institute of Architects for Movie Night. Over 100 AIA members found their favorite chair, grabbed some refreshment, and settled in to watch Die Reisen Des Santiago Calatrava (Santiago Calatrava's Travels) by Christoph Schaub. Yes, it was in German. Yes, it was subtitled. Yes, a good time was had by all. Centro looks forward to another screening in 2007. | |
 | 02.24.05 Zanotta Book Launch On the occassion of Zanotta's 50th Anniversary, Centro will host the debut of the 175-page anthology titled Zanotta: Design For Passion. Selected Zanotta designs from the past 50 years will be on exhibit during the special evening event and through March 31, 2005. | |
